This company hires new CDL holders and pays them to train. If you have just finished CDL school and are looking for a company that will hire you with no experience, this fleet is for you. They offer steady miles with a large service area and plenty of freight. The training program includes 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor, covering backing, trip planning, logs, and fueling. After training, drivers get their own assigned truck, typically about 1.5 years old, with options for automatic or 10-speed transmissions. For the first 3 months solo, pay is guaranteed not to drop below $1,000 a week. The service area covers everything east of Denver except the Northeast, with a mix of drop and hook, live loads, and preloads. Drivers are typically out for two weeks at a time, followed by a reset period at home.
