This is an entry-level CDL A Truck Driver position for individuals who have their CDL-A but lack driving experience. The role is part of a western regional fleet with short runs, typically keeping drivers within 2 days of home. The company provides on-the-road training for new CDL holders. After training, drivers move into their own trucks and receive guaranteed pay for the initial solo driving period. The job involves dry van freight across the 11 western states, with an average of 1,700 to 2,100 miles per week. Drivers are home every two weeks, with an option to expand their routes beyond the western states for more miles. Average weekly earnings range from $1,000 to $1,300, with a standard mileage pay scale that increases with experience, an additional performance bonus of up to 6 cents per mile, and stop pay.
