About The Position

This position offers paid training for entry-level drivers with a Class A CDL. Drivers in the Shreveport-Bossier area can expect paid training and the potential to earn up to $2,900 per week once solo. The company accepts new drivers with at least 120 hours from CDL school, and no prior experience is a disqualifier. The training program includes a mentor who will coach new drivers on essential skills before they drive independently. The role involves OTR lanes east of Denver, with no Northeast routes. Drivers are typically out for two weeks at a time and then home. Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 or older.
• New drivers need at least 120 hours from a CDL school or 6 months of recent experience.
• Acceptable driving record: up to 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a hair and urine drug test.

Responsibilities

• Drive OTR lanes east of Denver.
• Perform drop and hook, live loads, and preloads.
• Complete training with a mentor for 4 to 6 weeks, focusing on backing, logs, fueling, and trip planning.
• Operate an assigned truck, averaging about 1.5 years old.
• Ensure adherence to DOT regulations and company policies.
