About The Position

This position is for an Eastern Regional Dry Van driver that operates east of the Mississippi River. Griffin offers paid training for new CDL holders. Drivers will ride with an experienced trainer, paid every week, and move to their own truck on full pay after sign off. New CDL holders are guaranteed $1,000 weekly pay for their first 3 months after their first solo dispatch. The route covers the Eastern seaboard dry van, east of the Mississippi, with approximately 2,000 miles per week. Drivers can expect to be home every 2 weeks with weekend options available.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• New CDL holders must have 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers must have 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Valid license in current state of residence.
• Verifiable work history for the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

• Experienced drivers can have riders and pets from day one.
• New drivers can have riders and pets after training.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dry van truck east of the Mississippi River.
