CDL A Truck Driver - New CDL Holders - Paid Training
About The Position
This position is for CDL-A truck drivers, including new CDL holders, who are looking for paid training and a starting point for their driving career. The role involves a dedicated Ohio regional lane that runs out and back to Ohio, with a planner to ensure consistent movement and proximity to home. Drivers will begin by riding with an experienced trainer on real loads, earning $850 per week during training. Upon completion of training and sign-off from the trainer, drivers will move into their own truck and receive full pay, with a guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first 3 months of solo driving. The job consists of dry van freight, approximately 1,800 miles per week, with a weekly 34-hour reset at home. Responsibilities include drop and hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloads.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- Completed 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
- Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Live within 120 miles of a hiring city: Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Canton, Pittsburgh
