About The Position

This position is for CDL-A truck drivers, including new CDL holders, looking to build a career on a western regional fleet. Runs are typically short, keeping drivers within 2 days of home. The company provides on-the-road training for new CDL holders. Drivers will start by riding with an experienced trainer on real loads, earning $650 per week during training. Upon completion of training, drivers will move into their own truck and receive full pay, with a guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first 3 months of solo driving. The freight is dry van across the 11 western states, with an average of 1,700 to 2,100 miles per week. Drivers can expect to be home every 2 weeks, with the option to run beyond the western states for more miles. The average weekly earnings range from $1,000 to $1,300, with a standard mileage pay scale that increases with experience, up to 6 cents per mile extra in performance bonus, and $15 stop pay.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• 21 or older
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
• 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school (for new CDL holders)
• 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years (for experienced drivers)
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Drive dry van freight across the 11 western states.

• Operate your own truck on full pay after training.
• Maintain an average of 1,700 to 2,100 miles per week.
