About The Position

This position is for CDL-A truck drivers, including new CDL holders, in the Tacoma area who are looking to join a western regional fleet. The company offers paid training for new CDL holders, with weekly pay during training and a guaranteed check for the first month of solo driving. Drivers will haul dry van freight across western states, west of the Mississippi, averaging around 2,000 miles per week. Drivers can expect to be home every two weeks, with day and night dispatch, and weekend driving is expected. The average weekly earnings are $1,500, with a starting rate of 50 cents per mile and $15 stop pay, plus a monthly driver performance bonus.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• At least 21 years old
• Completed 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
• Live within 200 miles of Troutdale, OR

• New CDL holders with no prior driving experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Train with an experienced driver trainer on real loads.
• Drive dry van freight across western states, west of the Mississippi.
• Operate a truck for approximately 2,000 miles per week.
