CDL A Truck Driver - New CDL Holders - Paid Training
About The Position
This position is for CDL-A Truck Drivers, including new CDL holders, who are looking for paid training and a starting point for their driving careers. Drivers will start on a Houston-based regional fleet with training provided by an experienced driver trainer. Upon completion of training, drivers will move into their own truck with full pay. The role involves dry van regional freight primarily within Texas and surrounding states, with guaranteed weekly pay for the first three months of solo driving. The job offers opportunities for mileage pay based on experience, bonus pay, and stop pay.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- At least 21 years of age
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Live within 250 miles of Houston, TX
- For new CDL holders: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
- For experienced drivers: 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Responsibilities
- Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads during training.
- Operate a tractor-trailer for dry van regional freight.
- Complete an average of 1,700 to 2,000 miles per week.
- Handle drop and hook, live loads, and unloads.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
