About The Position

Drive a dedicated regional dry van account for Family Dollar based out of St. George, Utah, delivering to customer locations across Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Drivers unload trailers using rollers and operate company-provided tandem-axle sleeper trucks with 53-foot dry van trailers and automatic transmissions. The position offers an average annual pay of $100,386 and average weekly pay of approximately $1,950. Top weekly pay is listed as $2,450, with top annualized pay of $126,252. Compensation includes mileage pay, pay per load, and a Safe & On-Time Mileage Bonus of up to 3% of mileage pay. Drivers start at 6:00 AM, are home weekly, and receive a 34-hour weekly reset. Workdays may be up to 14 hours. Days off vary based on freight demand and are generally weekdays. Las Vegas-area drivers are typically out for two weeks at a time followed by three days at home. The role involves physical activity, including climbing in and out of trailers and unloading freight using rollers.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
Clean driving record.
DOT Medical Card.
No SAP drivers.
Ability to safely unload freight using rollers.
Ability to climb in and out of trailers throughout the workday.
Comfort with regional driving and weekly home time.
