Regional CDL-A Dedicated Driver – Up to $2K/Week | Mileage + Unload Pay
About The Position
Drive a dedicated regional retail account for Dollar Tree from Joliet, Illinois. The position averages approximately 970 miles per week, with three turns per week and three to five stops per load. Drivers deliver throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky. The freight is touch freight: drivers unload dry freight using rollers. Drivers are home weekly and receive a 34-hour weekly reset, typically Saturday–Sunday or Sunday–Monday. Schedules are Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, depending on driver location. Drivers use automatic sleeper trucks and 53-foot dry van trailers. Taking the truck home is permitted if the driver has a safe and secure parking location. Compensation includes average weekly pay of $1,800 and top weekly pay of $2,000, with mileage, unload, and backhaul pay. The posting also lists a $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Comfort unloading freight with rollers and handling physical, touch-freight work.
- Flexibility with the schedule and weekly reset days.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical Card.
- Drivers with SAP are not eligible.
