About The Position
Drive a dedicated regional dry van account for Family Dollar Oklahoma, primarily serving Texas and surrounding states. The delivery territory is approximately 75% Texas, with remaining freight going to Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Drivers typically handle 2–3 loads per week, with approximately 2–6 stops per load and about 1,600 miles per week. This active driving role includes unloading trailers using rollers. Drivers operate automatic sleeper trucks pulling 53-foot dry van trailers. The position offers weekly home time with a 34-hour reset and mileage pay plus load pay. Average weekly pay is $1,900, average annualized pay is $98,124, top weekly pay is $2,500, and top annualized pay is $129,521.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Must not be a SAP driver.
- Ability to safely unload freight using rollers and climb in and out of trailers as needed.
