About The Position
This dedicated regional retail account involves hauling freight for Family Dollar across Texas and surrounding states. Drivers can expect to average 1,600 miles per week, with approximately 2-3 loads per week, each having 2-6 stops. A key responsibility is unloading freight using rollers. The position offers weekly home time with a 34-hour reset. Drivers will operate sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions and pull 53-foot dry van trailers.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Ability to unload freight using rollers and handle multi-stop deliveries
