CDL-A Dedicated Driver – Mileage Pay + Load Pay + Bonus
About The Position
This is a dedicated regional dry van driving role based in St. George, Utah, delivering freight for Family Dollar across Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. The role pays by mileage plus load pay, with an average weekly pay of $1,950, average annual pay of $101,302, top weekly pay of $2,450, and top annualized pay of $127,295. Drivers may qualify for a safe and on-time mileage bonus of up to 3% of mileage pay by meeting the account’s standards. Drivers unload trailers using rollers and climb in and out of trailers as needed. The operation provides tandem-axle sleeper tractors and 53-foot dry van trailers equipped with automatic transmissions and modern equipment. The schedule has a 6:00 AM start time and shifts of up to 14 hours. Home time is weekly with a 34-hour reset; days off vary with freight demand and are usually weekdays. Las Vegas-based drivers are out for two weeks at a time, followed by three days at home.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 years of driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Drivers with SAP are not accepted.
- Ability to unload freight using rollers.
- Ability to climb in and out of trailers as needed.
- Ability to safely operate a sleeper tractor on regional routes.
