CDL-A Local Driver – Mileage, Load & Stop Pay
About The Position
CDL-A Local Retail Driver delivering dedicated retail freight for LIDL from the Fredericksburg, Virginia distribution facility. The role averages approximately 1,300 miles per week, with deliveries throughout Virginia and Maryland. Drivers load and unload trailers using an electric pallet jack and reload returned freight at the distribution center. The trucks have automatic transmissions and pull 53-foot trailers. The position is home daily and follows a five-day workweek, including weekends, with two consecutive days off each week. The current opening is for the night shift. Drivers must have reliable personal transportation to commute to the Fredericksburg facility daily. Average weekly pay is $1,700 and average annual pay is $86,892. Top weekly pay is $1,750, with top annualized pay of $90,220. Compensation includes mileage pay (CPM) and stop pay.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 years of driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Reliable personal transportation for daily commuting to the Fredericksburg facility.
