CDL-A Local Driver – Mileage Pay + Revenue Load Pay
About The Position
This is a dedicated local intermodal driving position serving the Toledo and New Boston areas, with routes in Ohio and Michigan. Drivers haul container freight using rail chassis. Freight is no-touch and may involve drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded containers. Chassis are rentals and are not maintained by the carrier, and trucks are not available to take home. The position offers daily home time and day or night shift options, with schedules available Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday. Pay is $1,300–$1,400 per week, consisting of mileage pay plus $40 per revenue load. Holiday work is required. No hiring bonus is offered.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Experienced first-seat driver required.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- SAP drivers are not eligible.
- Ability to safely operate intermodal equipment and handle container operations.
