CDL-A Driver – Mileage Pay + Load Pay + Home Weekly
About The Position
Drive dedicated regional dry van freight on a Family Dollar account based in St. George, Utah. The role offers mileage-based pay plus pay per load and a Safe & On-Time Mileage Bonus of up to 3% of mileage pay. Average weekly pay is $1,950, with top weekly earnings of $2,450; the stated average annualized pay is $101,302 and top annualized pay is $127,295. Drivers are home weekly for a 34-hour reset, with a consistent 6:00 AM start. Shifts may last up to 14 hours. Days off vary with freight demand and usually fall on weekdays. Drivers living in Las Vegas may stay out for two weeks at a time followed by three days at home. Freight moves through Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Drivers unload trailers using rollers and climb in and out of trailers as needed. Equipment includes tandem-axle sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions and 53-foot dry van trailers.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Ability to safely unload freight using rollers and repeatedly climb in and out of trailers.
- Ability to work shifts of up to 14 hours and meet regional route requirements.
