Regional CDL-A Driver – Mileage Pay + Unload Pay
About The Position
Drive for a dedicated regional Dollar Tree retail account based in Joliet, Illinois. The position averages approximately 970 miles per week, with three turns per week and three to five stops per load. Drivers deliver throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky. This is a touch-freight position involving unloading dry freight using rollers. Drivers are home weekly for a 34-hour reset, typically Saturday–Sunday or Sunday–Monday. Schedules are Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, depending on driver location. Compensation includes mileage pay, unload pay, and backhaul pay. The position uses automatic sleeper trucks and 53-foot dry van trailers. Drivers may take trucks home if they have a safe and secure parking location.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Comfort unloading freight with rollers and handling physical, touch-freight work.
- Flexibility with schedules and weekly reset days.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical Card.
- Drivers with SAP status are not eligible.
