Regional CDL-A Driver – Up to $2,450/Week + Mileage Bonus
About The Position
Drive a dedicated regional dry van account for Family Dollar, starting in St. George, Utah. The delivery territory includes Utah, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. Drivers unload freight using rollers and climb in and out of trailers as needed. The position uses tandem-axle sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions and 53-foot dry van trailers. Average weekly pay is $1,950, with top weekly pay listed as $2,450. Average annualized pay is $101,302, and top annualized pay is $127,295. Compensation includes mileage pay, pay per load, and a Safe & On-Time mileage bonus of up to 3% of mileage pay. Drivers are home weekly for a 34-hour reset. The scheduled start time is 6:00 AM; shifts may last up to 14 hours. Days off vary with freight demand and usually fall on weekdays. Las Vegas-area drivers are out for two weeks at a time, followed by three days at home.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Ability to safely unload freight using rollers.
- Ability to climb in and out of trailers as required.
