CDL-A Driver – Up to $2,447/Week + Mileage Bonus
About The Position
Family Dollar is hiring a regional CDL-A driver for a dedicated dry van account starting in St. George, Utah. The role pays an average of $1,950 per week, with top weekly earnings of $2,450, through mileage pay, per-load pay, and a Safe & On-Time mileage bonus of up to 3% of mileage pay. Average annualized pay is $101,302, and top annualized pay is $127,295. Drivers generally are home weekly with a 34-hour reset. The start time is 6:00 AM, shifts may last up to 14 hours, and days off vary with freight demand and usually fall on weekdays. Las Vegas-area drivers are out for two weeks at a time followed by three days at home. The position hauls dedicated regional dry van freight from St. George, Utah, to delivery locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Drivers unload freight using rollers and climb in and out of trailers as needed. Equipment includes tandem-axle sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions and 53-foot dry van trailers.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Drivers with SAP status are not eligible.
- Ability to safely unload freight using rollers.
- Ability to climb in and out of trailers as required.
