About The Position

Trimac is hiring a CDL-A Local/Regional Owner Operator to haul various chemicals from pickup points across South Carolina to regional destinations in SC, NC, GA, AL, KY, VA, TN, OH, WI, IN, MS, and TX, and local destinations in NC, SC, GA, TN, and VA. Drivers travel approximately 2,000–3,000 miles per week and are out 2–3 nights per week. Pay is mileage-based at $1.89 per loaded mile and $1.37 per empty mile, plus a fuel surcharge. The position offers weekly direct deposit, paid orientation, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
At least 6 months of valid tanker experience.
Pass the Trimac safety assessment.
Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
A 2010 or newer tractor.
TWIC.
In the past 7 years, no driving violation involving consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances, no preventable rollover, and no fatality crash.
In the past 3 years, no license suspension involving drugs or alcohol and no record indicating disregard for public safety.
In the past 3 years, no major preventable accident and fewer than two moving convictions.

Responsibilities

Haul various chemicals.
Pick up loads at various locations in South Carolina and deliver to regional or local destination points.
Travel approximately 2,000–3,000 miles per week.
