About The Position

Trimac is a transportation company with an 80-year legacy delivering products across North America. This role involves regional chemical transportation as an owner operator, with liquid tanker work for a dedicated customer. Loads travel across various lanes, primarily in the Southeastern and Midwestern states. Both regional and local work may be available. Drivers are typically out 2–3 nights per week and home most weekends. Average weekly gross pay is $4,500–$5,000, with mileage pay plus fuel surcharge (FSC).

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Valid medical certificate.
Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
Chemical experience.
Pass Trimac safety assessment.
Operate a 2010 or newer tractor.
No driving violation involving consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances in the past 7 years.
No preventable rollover or fatality crash in the past 7 years.
No license suspensions involving drugs and/or alcohol, or record indicating disregard for public safety, in the past 3 years.
No major preventable accident in the past 3 years.
Fewer than two moving convictions in the past 3 years.
