About The Position

Trimac is hiring a CDL-A Owner Operator for regional chemical transportation. The role involves liquid tanker work for a dedicated customer, serving various lanes primarily in the Southeastern and Midwestern states. Both regional and local work are possible. Drivers are typically out 2–3 nights per week and home most weekends. Compensation is mileage pay plus fuel surcharge, with average weekly gross pay stated as $4,500–$5,000.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Valid medical certificate.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Chemical transportation experience.
• Pass Trimac’s safety assessment.
• Operate a 2010 or newer tractor.
• No driving violation involving consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances, preventable rollover, or fatality crash in the past 7 years.
• No license suspensions involving drugs and/or alcohol, or record indicating disregard for public safety, in the past 3 years.
• No major preventable accident in the past 3 years.
• Fewer than two moving convictions in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport liquid chemicals by tanker for a dedicated customer.
• Drive various routes, primarily in the Southeastern and Midwestern states.
• Perform regional and potentially local work while following Trimac’s safety commitments.
