About The Position
Drive a dedicated Target fleet based at the Target Distribution Center at 345 Mount Vernon Road in Stuarts Draft, Virginia. The position offers set local lanes, approximately 1,772 miles per week, and daily home time. Drivers deliver dry freight to Target stores using preloaded trailers in a hook-and-drop operation. Freight is 100% no-touch. The fleet uses newer trucks with automatic transmissions. The regular schedule is five days per week. Drivers may work six days during surge periods, with planned days off. The account operates 24/7, including holidays, and drivers must be able to work weekends. Compensation is mileage-based, with additional bonus incentives and a $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus. Average weekly pay is $1,522, with top weekly pay of $1,820; average annualized pay is $79,170, with top annualized pay of $94,663.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical card.
- Able to work weekends.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
Responsibilities
- Drive dedicated routes delivering freight to Target stores.
