About The Position
Drive a dedicated Walmart fleet in Southern California, delivering no-touch freight to Walmart stores across the Los Angeles Basin, Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego County. Drivers dispatch from the Colton yard at 2250 Riverside Avenue in Colton, California, and typically make 1–2 stops per day. Routes average approximately 1,700 miles per week. The role uses automatic-transmission day cabs in a slip-seat operation; trucks cannot be taken home. Drivers are home daily. The operation runs 24 hours a day, with start times assigned after onboarding based on operational needs. During peak seasons, the schedule includes a six-day workweek with one day off. Average weekly pay is $1,656, with top weekly pay of $1,905; annualized average and top pay are $86,139 and $99,087, respectively. Compensation includes band mileage pay, stop pay, detention pay, and a $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical card.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
Responsibilities
- Deliver no-touch freight to Walmart stores throughout Southern California.
- Dispatch from the Colton yard and complete routes averaging approximately 1,700 miles per week.
