Deliver fresh and frozen groceries in 48–53-foot refrigerated trailers within 250 miles of Chester, New York, serving routes in the Hudson Valley, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania backhauls. New York City and Long Island routes become available after six months and specialized NYC certification training; approximately 20–25% of freight is NYC freight. The role follows a five-day workweek, either Thursday through Monday or Friday through Tuesday, with start times between 09:00 and 13:00. Drivers must work two mandatory sixth days per month, which are heavily tied to six major holidays. The workload involves at least 15 stops weekly, generally two loads or one long haul per day, and includes daily home time. Drivers start and finish at the East Brunswick yard at 19 Edgeboro Drive and need reliable personal transportation. The position uses slip-seat daycabs, which are not taken home. Work is mostly no-touch, though cross-account support two to three days per week may involve pallet-jack unloading; training is provided. Gross compensation is approximately $100,374 annually, or about $1,930 weekly, with mileage pay, stop pay, and additional pay opportunities.
