Entry Level CDL-A Driver – Paid One on One Training

About The Position

This position is for an entry-level CDL-A Driver who has recently finished CDL school in the Wesley Chapel, FL area. The driver will receive paid one-on-one training from day one with a dedicated mentor and will only go solo when ready. The training period lasts three to five weeks, during which the driver will handle actual freight on actual routes. Pay starts from day one, not after training concludes. The job involves regional dry van freight east of I-35, with 100% no-touch freight and approximately 70% drop and hook loads. Drivers will operate 2024-2025 Freightliner or Kenworth tractors equipped with APUs and can expect to be home every week or every two weeks.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 120 or more hours from an accredited CDL school
• Clean driving record
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with standards.
• Adhere to ELD compliance and hours-of-service logging regulations.
• Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow company procedures.
• Complete supervised miles and evaluations before going solo.
