About The Position

We are hiring motivated new graduates specifically from the Kankakee area for our Midwest Regional Trainee Program. This program offers a clear path from the classroom to a high-paying solo seat with the weekend home time you need. The Paid Training Program includes guaranteed weekly pay of $655 per week while you train, 1-on-1 mentorship for 3 to 5 weeks with a veteran driver, and runs Midwest Lanes through IL, IN, MI, OH, and KY. Upon graduation from the training program, drivers will upgrade directly into their own 2022 or newer Freightliner or Kenworth. Post-training, solo drivers can expect starting pay of $0.56 CPM, with average weekly gross earnings between $1,400 – $1,500, and top performers earning $1,800+ per week. A performance bonus of up to an additional $0.08 CPM is available for safe, productive driving. Drivers are guaranteed home every Saturday and Sunday for their 34-hour reset. The fleet consists of modern equipment, including 2022 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth T680. Flexibility is offered with day and night shifts available, and weekends and holidays are not mandatory. Additional compensation includes $15 per stop (excluding first and last). Support is available 24/7.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A.
• Minimum 120 hours from an accredited trucking school.
• Must live within 100 miles of Gary, IN.
• No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must pass a DOT drug screen and physical.
