Entry Level CDL-A Driver – Paid One on One Training

About The Position

This position is for an entry-level CDL-A Driver who has recently finished CDL school in the DeLand, FL area. The driver will receive paid one-on-one training with a dedicated mentor for three to five weeks, running actual freight on actual routes. Pay begins from day one, and the driver will go solo only when ready after supervised miles and evaluations. The job involves regional dry van freight east of I-35, with 100% no-touch freight and approximately 70% drop and hook loads. Drivers will operate 2024-2025 Freightliner or Kenworth tractors equipped with APUs and can expect to be home every week or every two weeks.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 120 or more hours from an accredited CDL school
• Clean driving record
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer.
• Adhere to safety standards.
• Comply with ELD and hours-of-service logging regulations.
• Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow company procedures.
• Transport regional dry van freight east of I-35.
• Handle 100% no-touch freight.
• Perform drop and hook operations for approximately 70% of loads.
