About The Position

This is a CDL A Driver position for a western regional fleet. The role is designed for new CDL holders with no prior driving experience, offering paid training with an experienced driver trainer. Trainees will earn $650 per week during training and move into their own truck on full pay once training is complete. Solo drivers are guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first 3 months. The freight is dry van across the 11 western states, with typical runs lasting no more than 2 days from home. Drivers can expect to drive 1,700 to 2,100 miles per week and will be home every 2 weeks. There is an option to run outside the western states for those seeking more miles. Average weekly earnings range from $1,000 to $1,300, with a standard mileage pay scale that increases with experience and up to 6 cents per mile extra in performance bonus. Stop pay is $15.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 or older.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• For new CDL holders: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
• For experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive dry van freight across the 11 western states.
