CDL A Driver - New CDL Welcome - Paid Training
About The Position
This regional fleet is looking for CDL-A drivers, including those new to the profession, to join their team. Drivers will receive paid training with an experienced driver trainer, with runs primarily east of Denver and avoiding New England and New York. Upon completion of training, drivers will move into their own truck with full pay, guaranteed at $1,000 per week for the first three months of solo driving. The freight is dry van across 27 states, with weekly mileage ranging from 1,800 to 2,200 miles. Drivers can expect to be home every two weeks and will handle both drop and hook and live load/unload situations.
Requirements
- Class A CDL.
- At least 21 years of age.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Reside within 250 miles of El Paso, TX.
- For new drivers: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
- For experienced drivers: 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Responsibilities
- Train with an experienced driver trainer on real loads.
- Operate a tractor-trailer for dry van freight across 27 states (Colorado east).
- Complete an average of 1,800 to 2,200 miles per week.
- Perform drop and hook, as well as live load and unload operations.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
