About The Position

This dedicated flatbed driving position is based in Dothan, Alabama, hauling stainless-steel freight originating near Calvert, Alabama. Drivers transport smaller stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets, with loads primarily live loaded and live unloaded. Approximately 75% of loads require tarping, using lightweight six-foot drop tarps; tarp compensation is included in the account's pay program.

Drivers operate dedicated routes with steady customer freight and planned backhauls. The schedule provides home time every weekend for a 34-hour reset. Pay is $2,000 to $2,100 per week, and qualified drivers are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Assigned equipment includes newer-model Kenworth T680 tractors and 2025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailers equipped with 12 winches and straps and two lightweight six-foot drop tarps. Drivers remain with the same trailer throughout each trip.

Orientation takes place Monday through Thursday and pays $100 per day. Hotel accommodations, meals, and travel arrangements are provided. After orientation, drivers move into their assigned equipment and begin operating on the dedicated account.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license.
• Minimum one year of OTR experience within the last five years.
• Minimum six months of flatbed experience.
• Steel-hauling experience.
• Current coil-hauling certification.
• Tarping and load-securement experience.
• Acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities
