American Trucking Group is hiring an experienced CDL-A driver for dedicated flatbed freight consisting primarily of stainless-steel coils and sheets. Freight originates near Calvert, Alabama, with planned backhauls toward the next outbound load to support a consistent freight cycle. Drivers are home every weekend for a 34-hour reset. Primary customer freight includes smaller stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets. Approximately 75% of outbound loads require tarping, and freight is primarily live loaded and live unloaded. Backhauls may include lumber, insulation, or other flatbed freight. Drivers earn $2,000 to $2,100 per week. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to qualified drivers. The assigned equipment is a newer-model Kenworth T680 paired with a 2025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailer that stays with the driver throughout the trip. The setup includes 12 winches and straps and two lightweight six-foot drop tarps. Paid orientation is held Monday through Thursday at $100 per day; hotel accommodations, meals, and travel arrangements are provided.
