CDL-A Dedicated Flatbed Driver

American Trucking Group USA, LLC•Mobile, AL
•$2,000 - $2,100

About The Position

Experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers haul specialized stainless-steel freight on a dedicated account. Freight originates near Calvert, Alabama, with deliveries throughout the United States. Available loaded backhauls route drivers toward Alabama for their next dedicated load. Pay is $2,000 to $2,100 per week, and drivers receive a weekly 34-hour reset. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified drivers. The primary customer ships smaller stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets on 48-foot flatbed trailers. Most freight is live loaded and live unloaded. Return freight may include lumber, insulation, or other flatbed commodities. Approximately 75% of loads require tarping; lightweight six-foot drop tarps are supplied, and tarp compensation is included in the compensation program. Drivers operate assigned newer-model Kenworth tractors paired with 2025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailers and account-specific securement equipment. Drivers remain with their assigned equipment while operating on the account. Home time includes a 34-hour reset each week; the specific day depends on delivery location and available return freight, so Saturday or Sunday home time is not guaranteed. New drivers attend orientation Monday through Thursday and receive $100 per day in orientation pay. Hotel accommodations, meals, and travel arrangements are provided.
