About The Position

Legends Global Stockton Complex is hiring a Catering Server at the Adventist Health Arena. The server provides courteous, rapid service to guests and helps ensure they have a positive, memorable experience. The position involves guest interaction, food and beverage service, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and coordinating with food and beverage staff. Work may take place inside or outside the building, as required by events.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One to two years of related experience and/or training.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with people.
Ability to handle high-stress situations.
Ability to read and understand English.
Must be available to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

Responsibilities

Greet guests enthusiastically and provide courteous, rapid service.
Serve alcoholic beverages appropriately and in accordance with company standards.
Answer guest questions about food, beverages, and facilities accurately and in a friendly manner.
Perform side work during non-busy hours.
Develop relationships with guests and speak with enthusiasm.
Provide service in accordance with company standards and help create a positive, memorable guest experience.
Identify food orders when ready and deliver items to tables promptly.
Maintain a professional appearance and professional relationships with coworkers.
Communicate with food and beverage staff to support guest satisfaction.
Report to work as scheduled, in uniform, and ready to work; punch in wearing the full uniform and no earlier than five minutes before the shift.
Follow checklists and standard operating procedures.
Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area; ensure proper sanitation and food handling.
Maintain knowledge of menus, recipes, food, beverages, products, and services, and continually increase that knowledge.
Prepare the work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing according to company standards.
Perform other assigned duties.
