About The Position

Legends Global Stockton Complex is hiring a Catering Server at Adventist Health Arena. The server provides courteous, prompt service to guests and helps create a positive, memorable experience. The role involves serving food and alcoholic beverages, answering guest questions, coordinating with food and beverage staff, and maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and properly stocked work area. The position may require work inside or outside the building depending on event needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One to two years of related experience and/or training.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well with people.
Ability to handle high-stress situations.
Ability to read and understand English.
Availability to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to meet the position’s physical demands, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

Responsibilities

Greet guests enthusiastically and provide courteous, rapid service.
Serve alcoholic beverages appropriately and in accordance with company standards.
Answer guest questions about food, beverages, and facilities accurately and in a friendly manner.
Complete side work during non-busy hours.
Build relationships with guests and maintain an enthusiastic, professional manner.
Provide service in accordance with company standards.
Identify food orders when ready and deliver items to tables promptly.
Communicate with food and beverage staff to support guest satisfaction.
Report to work as scheduled, in uniform, and ready to work.
Maintain professional relationships with coworkers.
Follow checklists and standard operating procedures.
Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
Maintain knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information, and continually increase knowledge of food, beverages, products, and services.
Ensure guests have a positive and memorable experience.
Maintain sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.
Prepare the work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing according to company standards.
Punch in wearing the full uniform and ready to work, no earlier than five minutes before the shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
