About The Position

The seasonal Catering Attendant delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain and helps ensure events are executed accurately. The role may include driving a catering delivery truck. Duties include setting up and serving at functions, cleaning event areas during and after events, breaking down setups, leaving areas neat and clean, and returning leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly. Days and hours may vary according to the seasonal event schedule.

Requirements

• Possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by state law.
• A valid driver's license may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior catering experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables and decorations.
• Set buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly clean event locations after functions.
• Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
• Provide guests with friendly, courteous service.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and available products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
