CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Eurest is hiring a full-time Catering Attendant at Subaru in Camden, New Jersey. The position delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain and helps ensure events are accurately executed. The attendant may drive a catering delivery truck. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; the posting notes there are no nights or weekends. Pay is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour. Catering experience is a plus. A valid driver's license may be required, and the attendant must have or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law. The role includes preparing and delivering food and supplies to scheduled locations; setting up tables, decorations, buffets, and service items; serving guests; and cleaning and breaking down event areas. The attendant also returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility, maintains catering equipment and supplies, follows food safety and sanitation procedures, and provides courteous service. Applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
- Log and maintain food temperatures.
- Arrange tables and decorations.
- Arrange buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Thoroughly clean the location after events.
- Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility in a timely manner.
- Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
- Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
- Provide friendly, courteous service to guests.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May drive a catering delivery truck.
