CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Catering Attendant delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain, ensuring events are executed accurately. The role may include driving a catering delivery truck. Duties include setting up and serving at functions, cleaning event areas during and after events, breaking down setups, and returning leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner. The position is full time, Monday through Friday, with shifts scheduled between 5:00 AM and 9:00 PM. The location is Snowflake, 135 Constitution Drive, Menlo Park, CA 94025. The fixed pay rate is $25.00 per hour. Previous event experience is preferred. A valid driver’s license may be required, and the employee must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
- Log and maintain food temperatures.
- Arrange tables and decorations.
- Arrange buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Thoroughly clean the location after events.
- Return food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
- Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
- Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
- Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
