CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Catering Attendant delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain and ensures events are executed accurately during the shift. The role may involve driving a catering delivery truck. Duties include transporting food and supplies to event locations, setting up and serving at functions, cleaning event areas during and after events, breaking down setups, and returning leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly. The attendant also maintains catering facilities and equipment, provides courteous service, and follows food safety and sanitation procedures.
Requirements
- Previous catering experience is required.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
- Log and maintain food temperatures.
- Arrange tables and decorations.
- Set up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Clean the event location thoroughly after events.
- Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
- Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
- Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
- Provide guests with friendly, courteous service.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
