CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Catering Attendant delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain and ensures events are executed accurately during the shift. Duties may include driving a catering delivery truck. The role sets up and serves at functions, cleans event areas during and after events, breaks down setups, leaves areas neat and clean, and returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly. This is a full-time position at Bank of America in Pennington, New Jersey. The Monday-through-Friday schedule has one of several listed shifts: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Pay is $17.50–$18.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Previous catering or conference service experience is required.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
- Log and maintain food temperatures.
- Arrange tables and decorations.
- Arrange buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Clean event locations thoroughly after functions.
- Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
- Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
- Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
- Provide guests with friendly, courteous service.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
