About The Position

Toucan Gaming is hiring a Casino Manager for its Greenwood, Louisiana location. The manager leads the team and oversees daily operations at a video poker gaming and amusements venue, helping maintain a welcoming guest experience and a clean, safe environment. The role includes coaching and training employees, hiring team members, managing schedules and operational paperwork, overseeing inventory, and ensuring compliance with licenses, permits, company standards, and procedures for video poker machines and other equipment.

The manager handles guest concerns, manages cash, drops, balances, and reporting, and works with upper management to share ideas and drive results. This is a full-time position with a blend of day and evening shifts and occasional weekend shifts. Pay is $15–$20 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Valid ID required.
• Obtain a gaming permit after hire; having one already is a bonus.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, time tracking, phones, and fax.
• Physically able to stand, lift, and move as required by the job.
• Comfortable enforcing rules while maintaining a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
• Strong math skills for managing cash, drops, balances, and reporting.
• Leadership, organization, honesty, people skills, adaptability, and the ability to motivate a team.

• Previous experience as a shift leader, supervisor, or manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor by example and coach team members in real time.
• Train and guide the team to help employees succeed.
• Hire new team members.
• Ensure guests are happy, relaxed, and well cared for.
• Resolve guest concerns calmly.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including schedules, paperwork, inventory, and venue operations.
• Keep the space clean and safe.
