About The Position
The Casino Barback maintains bar stock and supplies, supports beverage service, and keeps bar areas clean. The role involves transporting beverages from walk-in coolers, preparing stock requisitions, maintaining ice, glassware, and garnishes, and assisting with beverage orders and drink preparation. The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Compensation is $15 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in the same or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Transport cases of beer, bottled water, liquor, and other beverages from walk-in coolers to bars to maintain stock levels.
- Prepare written requisitions for stock.
- Maintain supplies of ice, glassware, and drink garnishes, and rotate fresh fruit.
- Clean and maintain all bar areas.
- Restock beer kegs in walk-in coolers.
- Clean reach-in coolers and rotate bottled beer.
- Empty trash bins in the bar area and take refuse to the appropriate bin.
- Receive and fulfill beverage orders from guests, cocktail servers, and bartenders.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard beverage recipes.
- Operate cash registers and accurately complete transactions according to standardized procedures.
