About The Position

The Casino Barback supports bar operations at River City Casino & Hotel by maintaining supplies, assisting bartenders, and keeping work areas clean and safe. The role provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service while following departmental and property policies and procedures. The listed schedule is 10:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Compensation is described as $9.00 per hour plus tips, with tip averages of $100–$200 per shift; a separate starting-salary section lists up to $19–$29 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with guests.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification (ServSafe Alcohol).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

• Familiarity with and product knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service.
• Follow established departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Set up bars for operation, cut fruit, stock ice, and empty garbage.
• Support bartender needs, ice drink glasses, and pour non-alcoholic drinks as needed.
• Wipe counter areas, sinks, and floors to maintain a clean and safe workstation.
• Maintain designated areas according to established health and safety standards.
• Maintain par stock levels, order bar supplies as necessary, and deliver orders.
• Maintain equipment according to established guidelines and safety procedures, and report maintenance problems to the manager.
• Remove and properly dispose of refuse and debris from restaurant and service stations, and sort bottles and corrugated cardboard for recycling.
• Resolve service issues according to established guidelines.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.
