About The Position

Oak View Group (OVG), a global provider of live entertainment infrastructure and services, is hiring a part-time Barback at Oneida Casino. The Barback backs up bartenders by restocking products and supplies so the bar remains fully stocked during events, while following policies and procedures for alcohol dispensing. The role requires excellent attendance and availability to work scheduled events as business needs require. The hourly rate is $15.00. The position will remain open until December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests, contributing to a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
• Valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations.
• Ability to calculate basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages, as they relate to product inventory.
• Excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled per business need.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume bar capacity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar products, including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and ice wells; sweep and mop the bar; move kegs in and out of keg coolers; and tap kegs.
• Provide bartenders with backup supplies, including fruit, napkins, cups, utensils, and stirrers.
• Ensure location equipment is operable and clean before events begin.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and surrounding areas using sanitation procedures, including mopping floors, cleaning and stacking floor mats, emptying and relining trash cans, and keeping closet areas clear of debris and clutter.
• Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and alert bartenders.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
