About The Position

Oak View Group is seeking Bar Crew to serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at Oneida Casino. Bar Crew members should be personable and professional, work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment, maintain excellent attendance, and be available for scheduled events according to business needs. The role pays $8.50 per hour and is tip eligible. The position will remain open until December 31, 2026. Part-time benefits include a 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. Requirements

Six months or more of bartending experience.
Accurate cash-handling skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.

Responsibilities

Meet company standards for guest service, interactions with coworkers, and uniform standards.
Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described.
Serve alcoholic beverages according to proper procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.
Learn available beer, wine, and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests.
Pour drinks in accordance with company serving-size standards.
Check guests’ identification to verify they meet the legal minimum age for purchasing alcoholic beverages.
Communicate a cut-off to a guest when required.
Listen and respond to customer requests and concerns.
De-escalate situations involving intoxicated guests and contact management or security when a guest is confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity.
Contact management when unable to resolve an issue or make a decision beyond the scope of standard decision-making.
Request additional products or restock products as needed.
Handle cash accurately and issue a bank at the bar.
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained.
Perform other assigned duties, including setting up and breaking down bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization.
