About The Position

The Casino Porter maintains cleanliness throughout the property, including casino areas, restrooms, restaurants, retail stores, offices, walkways, sidewalks, and driveways. The role uses appropriate cleaning supplies and performs other duties as necessary for the success of the department.

Requirements

• GED or high school diploma required.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months’ experience in a related cleaning field preferred.
• Previous experience with a large hotel preferred.
• At least six months’ guest contact experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general cleaning supplies preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep around slot areas and clean slot machines, chairs, ashtrays, slot stands, walls, pillars, storage boxes, and the outside of change booths.
• Clean restrooms by sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning urinals and toilets with proper chemicals, wiping walls and mirrors, and vacuuming carpets.
• Vacuum carpets in restaurants and retail stores; clean and dust shelves; and clean windows.
• Dust mop and wet mop marble floors and vacuum walkway carpets.
• Sweep sidewalks and the driveway, and replace full trash bags with clean bags.
• Vacuum carpets, dust shelves and cabinets, wipe down walls, and clean windows and mirrors in offices.
• Perform other duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.
