About The Position

The Casino Porter keeps the casino floor, public and employee restrooms, employee dining area, private offices, and the property's parking garage clean and orderly. The role cleans and polishes floors and cares for rugs and walk-off carpet, assists guests, and communicates with supervisors and managers about housekeeping and guest-service matters. Employees must follow company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effectively communicate in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience in a similar casino or hotel environment.
• Experience with Micros or similar POS software.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish floors in public areas, including hallways, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish various types of flooring.
• Clean and care for rugs and walk-off carpet.
• Assist guests with questions or requests.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors and managers about housekeeping and guest-service issues.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with team members, guests, and vendors.
• Accept performance feedback professionally.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
