About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Cashier at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The role performs cashiering duties, including processing cash transactions, verifying the cash drawer, making change, counting receipts, and completing cash reports. It may also include general food service work and maintaining sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas. The schedule is full time, with days and hours varying and rotating weekends. The pay range is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.

- Previous cash handling or food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion.
- Enter sales into the cash register to accurately record purchases.
- Make change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable payments, and issue receipts.
- Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Manage assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring the cash drawer meets overage and shortage standards.
- Observe purchases in the cafe line and distinguish standard portions.
- Replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages, and general supplies while keeping service areas clean.
- Keep the pastry case stocked.
- Comply with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Comply with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
