About The Position

The Cashier works as a member of the store team to provide an excellent customer and brand experience and promote sales for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona and its affiliated entities. The role operates registers and helps maintain sales-floor standards. This is a full-time position in Bullhead City, Arizona, with starting pay of $15.15 per hour.

The position requires regular, consistent in-person attendance and involves customer service, processing payments, maintaining merchandise displays, and keeping the store clean and safe. Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Proficient in speaking and reading English.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.

• Excellent math skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform point-of-sale duties and process all forms of payment.
• Ask each customer for a cash donation at the point of sale.
• Establish or identify merchandise prices based on the type of goods, identifying marks, or guidance from an on-site leader.
• Complete closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Greet customers entering the store and thank customers as they leave.
• Maintain the sales floor according to floorwork and picture process map (PPM) standards.
• Stock merchandise in the appropriate area as assigned.
• Use systems, including phones and paging systems, to make regularly scheduled announcements.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
