About The Position

Goodwill is hiring a part-time Cashier in Belmont. The role supports Goodwill’s mission by helping fund community job training, education, and employment programs through store operations. The cashier provides customer service at the register, helps maintain and stock the sales floor, assists donors, and supports donation and sorting operations. Starting pay is $15 per hour, with annual raises and production bonuses.

Requirements

No experience required; willingness to learn and grow.
Able to follow instructions, handle physical tasks, and work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Able to stand, talk, listen, use hands, reach, walk, pull, and occasionally bend and stoop.
Able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the register, including ringing sales, handling payments, bagging merchandise, and thanking customers.
Keep the sales floor stocked and organized by moving clothing from the backroom, merchandising clothing by type and color, and keeping racks tidy and rotated.
Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment, including dressing rooms and work areas.
Greet donors, accept donations, and issue receipts.
Support donation door operations and perform sorting and hanger tasks as needed.
Report safety, security, or theft concerns to store management.
Perform other assigned duties to support the team.
